Swindon 0-1 Peterborough

Steve Jenkins' first goal for Peterborough was enough to earn all three points at Swindon. Defender Jenkins struck late in the first half and his goal handed Peterborough their first away win. The former Welsh international was perfectly-placed to score from six yards after a corner from Andy Legg had been headed back across goal. Swindon's Mark Yeates was just wide following a flowing move and striker Sam Parkin volleyed against a post.

Peterborough 2-3 Hull

Hull City recovered from the shock of falling behind to claim a valuable win away to Peterborough United. Calum Willock gave Posh the lead with an early strike before Stuart Elliott equalised when he stole in to poke home a free-kick. Leon Cort headed Hull in front when keeper Mark Tyler misjudged the flight of a Michael Keane corner, before Elliott coverted a Ryan France cross. Andy Clarke netted in stoppage time, but it was too late for Peterborough.

Luton 2-1 Peterborough

Luton maintained their 100% home record to increase their lead at the top of League One to nine points. Luton moved ahead as Ahmet Brkovic's overhead kick was finished off by Rowan Vine's fourth goal of the season. Peterborough levelled against the run of play as Curtis Woodhouse fired in Steve Jenkins' cross on 47 minutes. But Luton netted the winner when Paul Underwood side-stepped a defender to slot home, with Andy Legg helping the ball on its way as he tried to clear.

Bristol C 1-0 Peterborough

Paul Heffernan's seventh-minute strike was enough to wrap up a deserved victory for Bristol City in the first round of the LDV Vans Trophy. An error by Andy Legg allowed Heffernan through to make a low shot past Posh goalkeeper Mark Tyler. Tyler kept the visitors in the game with a series of fine saves, most notably against a Leroy Lita penalty 10 minutes from time. The penalty was awarded for a push in the back by Sean St Ledger on Lita.

Peterborough 1-1 Torquay

Peterborough earned a draw against Torquay thanks to Andy Clarke. Torquay were denied when Sean St Ledger blocked Jo Kuffour's shot off the line, but Alex Russell made no mistake with a siperb 25-yard volley 11 minutes before the break. Peterborough unlocked the Torquay defence when Andy Legg launched a long throw and Clarke headed into the net. Posh substitute Dave Farrell fired wide after the break then Andre Boucard hit the bar with the goal at his presence.

STOCKPORT 1 - 0 POSH

Posh slipped further down the League 1 table after Luke Beckett's seventh goal of the season earned Stockport their first league victory at Edgeley Park over a struggling Peterborough side who haven't won now in 5 games.
Earlier on Stockport had missed a penalty on 11 minutes when Lambert sent the ball past Mark Tyler's right hand post although the Posh keeper did look to have had it covered
Peter Kennedy came closest for Posh when his left foot shot hit the outside of the post.

POSH 1 - 1 SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY

Posh started off well in this match. They attacked at every opportunity and this paid on the 31st minute when Clive Platt headed past David Lucas from a Peter Kennedy cross to put Posh in the lead. Lucas was stretchered off however after colliding with Platt
Posh came out defensive in the second half and let Sheffield Wednesday attack more and their pressure paid off in the 85th minute when Lee Bullens headed past Mark Tyler.
Posh lacked the creativity in midfield with Andre Boucard staying on the bench for the whole match.

POSH 3-0 Hartlepool

Posh showed a big improvement from their Tuesday night game against Sheffield Wednesday and came out deserving 3 - 0 winners against a very lacklustre Hartlepool Side.

Posh took the lead after 15 minutes when Peter Kennedy struck a 20yd Free Kick into the top corner of the net with the Hartlepool keeper Provett having no chance what so ever.
4 minutes later, a good passage of passing between Danny Sonner and Adam Newton ended with Sonner crossing the ball in for Calum Willock to head past Provett.
Posh got their 3rd goal in the second half when Andy Legg, in possibly his last match struck an absolutely beautiful shot from 30-35 yds out past Provett into the top corner of the net.
One downside to this victory though was when Chris Plummer got sent off for two harsh bookable offences. Plummer was making his 100th League Start(including Conference Matches)

Posh now go to Wrexham on Tuesday night in full confidence but missing Plummer and captain Curtis Woodhouse.

Wrexham 1-1 POSH

Dennis Lawrence struck three minutes from time to earn Wrexham a point at home to Peterborough.
Hector Sam missed two chances to give Wrexham the lead but the visitors went in front after the break when Callum Willock volleyed in Andy Legg's corner.
Clive Platt and Willock twice went close as Posh sought to extend their advantage while Peter Kennedy saw a goalbound right-foot effort blocked.
Posh will be disappointed after dominating most of the match.

Doncaster Rovers 2-1 POSH

For the 2nd time in consecutive matches Posh conceded a goal in the 87th minute to lose points away from home.
Doncaster took the lead on 4 minutes when Michael McIndoe took advantage of Sagi Burtons sloppy backpass.
Posh levelled later on in the 1st half when Clive Platt headed home from an Adam Newton cross.
Doncaster were reduced to 10 men on 40 minutes when John Doolan was sent off for an off the ball tussle with Sagi Burton.
Posh couldn't take advantage of the man advantage and lost out on all 3 points in the 87th minute when Paul Green shot past Mark Tyler.

POSH 0-1 AFC Bournemouth

Posh fired a blank at home to condemn themselves to a second consecutive defeat.
James Hayter scored the only goal on 4 minutes after heading past Mark Tyler when left unmarked.
Posh never showed any signs of scoring. Curtis Woodhouse could have equalised for Posh in injury time but his shot went past the post.
James Hayter, Wade Elliott and Karl Broadhurst were all kept at bay by Posh goalkeeper Mark Tyler.

POSH 2-1 Tranmere Rovers

Posh had great BounceBackAbility to win this week after their awful defeat last week.

Posh who spent most of the game against 12 men (including the referee) managed to get a winner on 89 minutes from Curtis Woodhouse after he headed home a Ryan Semple cross.
Peter Kennedy opened the scoring for Posh with a left footed free kick but Tranmere levelled when Ryan Taylor struck a free kick into the top corner of the net.
Both teams were reduced to 10 men when Sagi Burton of Posh and Calvin Zola of Tranmere had an off the ball tussle in the centre circle.

Posh dominated the match and deserved to progress to the 2nd round of the FA Cup

Walsall 2 - 1 POSH

Posh started off well when Wayne Purser scored on his debut after 11 minutes to give Posh the lead.
Barry Fry changed the formation to 5-3-2 at Half Time and that proved to be another poor decision from the Posh Manager/Owner.
Posh's defence just let Walsall walk straight through them for the equaliser as Darren Wrack slotted home past Mark Tyler.
Posh's defence didnt improve and they let Paul Merson run straight through them to find Gary Birch who got Walsall's winner.

POSH 4 - 0 Port Vale

Posh took the lead through Wayne Purser who scored on his home debut.
Posh got their second in the 2nd Half when Curtis Woodhouse took a quick free kick and found Dave Farrell who smashed the ball into the net.
Posh's 3rd came from Andre Boucard who had been a threat all the match and rounded his day off by running the full length of the pitch and then putting the ball in the corner of the net.
Curtis Woodhouse scored Posh's 4th from the penalty spot after Wayne Purser was pulled down.

POSH 2 - Bath City

Posh pulled the plug on Bath City's FA Cup run fot his season.
Posh scored two goals in 5 first half minutes to secure the win.
John Williams threatened in a bright opening by the visitors but Andre Boucaud pulled back a fine low cross for Willock to fire in his first.
Bath goalkeeper Steve Perrin denied Adam Newton with a fingertip save but Willock headed his second just before half-time to kill the game off.

MK Dons 1 - 1 POSH

New MK Dons boss Danny Wilson saw his new team come from one down to draw this match 1-1.
Leon Constantine broke the deadlock for the Posh with his first and what seems to be his last goal for Posh in the 25th minute with an unstoppable shot past David Martin.
But Wade Small got the Dons back on level terms after 52 minutes with his strike from close range.
Posh keeper Mark Tyler then produced a magnificent save on the hour to keep out Nick Rizzo's 20-yard shot.
